Senior public relations major
studying at Harding University.
(think small private school in an even smaller town in Arkansas)
I’ve gone out of town about 80%
of the weekends so far.
So what, I love to travel and my car gets good gas mileage.
Is that so bad?
I think not
.
Anyways, back to my story.
I grew up in Valdosta, Georgia.
It’s half way between Atlanta and Orlando
and is a famous stopping point for everyone driving to
Disney World.
Perhaps you’ve spent the night in my hometown?
My dad was in the Air Force,
which allowed me the opportunity to live in England
for four years.
Too bad those four years were before first grade.
My family (father, mother and myself)
moved back to Valdosta and that’s where I spent my whole life
until high school graduation.
Once I threw my cap in the air,
I was ready to hit the road.
The best thing that came out of Harding
was my ability to spend a semester studying
abroad in Paris.
That’s right, from February to April of 2012 I called
the city of lights home.
Jealous?
A few things you should know about me:
I have enough Death Cab for Cutie music on my iPod to last for a 10 hour road trip
I’m not a fan of chocolate (in case you decide to bake me anything)
Fall is my favorite season
I’m completely in love with coffee
I’m team Pumpkin Spice Latte. Don’t even try to tell me your arguments for Salted Carmel Mocha.
I will be graduating in December 2013
and slowly but surely I’m putting together an idea
of what I would like my future to look like.
My goals include working for a PR agency doing media relations.
I will impress my bosses with my lack of significant other and family
so they will see that I am the perfect candidate to work in their London office.
Happens all the time, right?
Until then, I’ll find a pile of crunchy leaves to jump in, drink my PSL
and call it a day.

I don't understand how you don't like chocolate, but I think I like you anyways :)
You left the sweetest comment on my blog, but your e-mail isn't attached to your Blogger profile, so I can't respond! you should fix that so we can become blogger buddies :)
Thanks! I got the whole email situation straightened out. I would hate a to live in a world where we aren't blogging buddies :)
I love that your title is the 'New Girl' theme song I love that show!
That is so amazing that we were able to live in Paris!

Mine, too! Zooey Deschenel is one of my favorite actresses. If only we could all move back to Paris, then everything would be perfect!
Hey, Jess. I'm so glad I found your blog through Amanda over at Living in Another Language! We seem to write about similar things - college + travel + adventure. I'm over at thecollegecosmopolitan.com if you want to check it out! I'm excited to read more from your travels!
