Coffee Talk vol. 6

1. Don't tell me you can watch the trailer for "The Fault in Your Stars" without tearing up a little. I said that Kleenex should partner with John Greene to give a box of tissues with each book or movie ticket.

2. I felt so bad for all my friends and everyone in Atlanta during the "Blizzard of Blame," as CNN started referring to it. Meanwhile in Valdosta, we shut down for cold-almost-freezing rain.

3. It's no secret that I love getting snail mail. So it's no surprise that whenever I visit DC, I'll make a beeline for the National Postal Museum, featured on Oh So Beautiful Paper this week.

4. I'm going to keep these tips from Mackenzie bookmarked on how to decorate on a budget in a small space. Plus we're both over-the-moon excited for the new Threshold collection at Target.

5. If you love doxies as much as I do, then you must follow the adventures of Kate and Trudy.  You can also find them on Instagram at @katheandtrudy)

I live in atlanta and it definitely was very chaotic and scary for everyone that was stuck on the roads. I love this coffee talk series, it's always so fun to read!

Note to self: Don't put on an entire face of make-up and then immediately watch The Fault in Our Stars trailor - it's pointless.

I used to live, and have many friends who still live in Augusta, that weather was ridiculous. I'm up in MD now and we got about the same amount of snow this past week and everything was fine. I felt so bad for everyone trying to get around in GA during that weather.

I read the Fault in Our Stars a couple years ago when it came out, and I love that everyone is so stoked about the movie! I think it'll be pretty true to the book and I can't wait to see it. :]

I just read it a few months ago and it was my first John Green book! Usually I'm on the bandwagon a lot sooner for these things, but I guessed I missed out this time. Better late than never!

It was awful! And towns here aren't equipped to prepare for winter weather, which just makes the situation even worse.

Actually I'm not sure. I got the photo from http://join.deathtothestockphoto.com/

But for real though. If 90 seconds makes me weepy...imagine what 90 MINUTES will do.

I just read your recap of the storm! I couldn't imagine being in that. One of my friends abandoned her car only to be hit by another out of control car while she was trying to walk home. Thankfully the driver was only going about 10 mph, but she was still shaken up quite a bit by it.

So glad you like this series! I always enjoy putting together things I've read throughout the week.

I've read all of his books and my personal favorite is his first: Looking for Alaska. Definitely look at that one next if you liked TFIOS. :]

cozy pic! I'm definitely enjoying these! Hey I have a question...is there an easy way to explain how to get "you might also like these posts..." at the bottom of every post? I see that on several blogs and I love it but I have no idea how to do it? If it's too hard to explain then don't worry about it...just thought I'd ask! by the way, I'm loving meet some of your sidebar buddies too!

Not a problem! I use LinkWithin and it gives you step by step instructions for installing it. Super simple. http://www.linkwithin.com/learn?ref=widget
