Any fun plans for the weekend? I'm about to join the masses of weepy girls who have seen The Fault in Our Stars. I've read a few reviews so far and I'm fully prepared to have the sniffles afterwards, which is saying A LOT because I do not cry during movies. Call me insensitive, but it just doesn't usually happen. Dog movies being the exception because even though I always prepare myself beforehand for the family pet's ultimate end, I still tear up every time.

In case you are taking a personal day and laying in bed all day, here is some reading material to keep you company.

I absolutely love scarves, even in the summer. Here are three ways to wear them that you wouldn't expect: as a head wrap, picnic blanket and tote bag!

You may have read on Monday that I was in a blogging rut. Well, these prompts from Kenzie were just the inspiration I needed for new content. If you are in that rut with me, check them out.

These frames from West Elm are a must for anyone wanting to frame prints on the cheap. Personally I don't want to pay triple for a frame what I paid for the print.

Wanting to do something a little off the beaten path while in Provence? Why not head to the countryside and channel your inner Van Gogh with a little painting and picnic session?

Travel and coffee are two of my favorite things of all time. So of course I love Rachel's travel inspired coffee station

A new month, a new desktop wallpaper. Here is a collection to brighten your screen.

I just checked out Rachel's coffee corner, and I love it! Also going to see TFioS this weekend (9:45 am tomorrow to get those matinee prices! Haha). I'll be thinking of you while I'm bawling my eyes out (And I totally get you on the animal deaths in movies. I always find them so much more tragic!)

I'm so glad I'm not alone in mainly crying during animal movies. Let me know what you think of TFioS! I personally loved it and went in not trying to compare it to the book, because let's face it, the movies are never quite as good as the way you picture it in your mind.

Aww thanks! I always love reading these kinds of posts too and it helps me to collect all of my favorite tidbits from across the Internet all in once place.

Those frames from West Elm are pretty sweet. I've always admired wall photo galleries and wanted to create one in our apartment, yet there's just so many different frames, prints and mirrors to choose from that the idea alone overwhelms me! One day though, maybe when we have a house, I'll make one!

If you're going to invest the time in selecting all of the items and taking the time to hang them, you definitely want to know that you aren't going to be moving anytime soon. Because that would be such a pain to have to redo in another apartment/house! My dad still helps me hang pictures and he has the perfect system of measuring and marking before actually putting the nails into the wall. I'm more of a guess and check kind of gal.

Well, I made it exactly 16 minutes in without crying. (Yes, I checked my watch because I thought: "That wasn't very long." Haha.) I thought it really did the book justice! Obviously the book was still better, but I LOVED Gus in the movie. I want to see more of that actor! I would recommend it to others who read the book as well. :)
