1. Do you need a reminder not to drive distracted? There is a new movement called "paint your thumb red" and it's just what it sounds. Paint your thumbnail red and that way when you are on your phone behind the wheel, the bright color will remind you to get your eyes back on the road. Don't worry, that text, tweet, or status can wait. Will you participate?

2. Rachel shared the best list of ways to be an awkward American when abroad. I would also add "thinking that all of Europe drives on the 'wrong' side of the road" to that list. And this is why I'm so thankful I was never allowed to drive abroad.

3. There was one of the most well explained Photoshop tutorials to achieve a soft and pretty coloring to your photos featured on Lark and Linen.

4. Add these 9 pancake recipes to your repertoire for brunch. You friends and family will thank you later.

5. Downton Abbey announced that they will be adding new characters to the cast for season five. I don't know whether to be excited or nervous about the addition. Because whenever new charaters come, that means that others will have to go...i.e. be killed off. And I'm still trying to recover from Sybil and Matthew's deaths last season.

6. Did you see Elsie and Emma's recipe for vegan crunch wrap supremes? Avoid the "shame" that everyone talks about (that I don't feel) of eating Taco Bell and make your crunch wrap at home. Plus I imagine that this one will taste even better. And your guacamole won't come out of a silver can...

Love the red thumb idea! And about #5. Everywhere I turn people are talking about this show. I have yet to sit down and watch one episode.

Eeeks, I'm scared, too, about new additions but mostly who (if any) will be killed off. I'm recovering from Sybil's and Matthews, too. Sybil's caught me completely off guard and I spent the rest of the day in bed crying. Yep, I'm THAT girl.

I'm British and I haven't watched an episode of Downton Abbey. I know...I'll go hang my head in shame!! I really need to rectify this seen as though everybody is talking about it and seems to love it!!

Awesome! They will be perfect.

You get to watch it before America and that privilege is wasted on you! haha. But really, if you enjoy British period dramas, then you will LOVE it. Even though I have now given you a major spoiler...

I was so hurt when I found out that she wouldn't be returning to the show. I still don't understand what Fellows has to kill the family members who don't want to return to the show. Why can't they just go on an extended trip to America or something?

Isn't it the best! I tried it the other day and I am still in awe at how pretty my pictures turned out. They were good before but now they are stunning. Definitely worth the extra few minutes of editing!

You should watch it! Even though I have given you a major spoiler alert. Just ignore it.

I love this round up! I used to be a texter when driving and then our province passed a law to make illegal about the same time I had my daughter - double the reason not to so I totally don't now, can't imagine putting her life at risk for something that could totally wait.
